About

Angelique Rabus

Currently living in Annapolis, MD making work and taking a bit of time off from teaching to have a family.  Most recently I worked at Watkins College of Art, Design and Film as the Assistant Professor of Photography. I have a BA from Wells college and an MFA in Photography from Kansas State University.

My work is generally about abstraction but I still dabble in all other areas of photography, some times just for therapeutic purposes.  My work has been shown both nationally and internationally, having group shows as well as solo. My desire for photography is generally geared more toward the historic processes, such as tintypes, vandyke, gum arabic, mordançage and many more.  Though my love for the medium emerged with the idea of capturing light in whatever means necessary.

With in this site you will see an assortment of work, and a couple series I have been working on and off of for the past 8 years.  I hope you enjoy the site.
