About

Angelique Rabus

Currently living in Nashville, TN, working at Belmont University, the Art Institute of Nashville, Watkins College and Volunteer state Community college, teaching all levels of photography.  I have a BA from Wells collage and an MFA in Photography from Kansas State University.

My work is generally about abstraction but I still dabble in all other areas of photography, some times just for therapeutic purposes.  My work has been shown both nationally and internationally, having group shows as well as solo. My desire for photography is generally geared more toward the historic processes, such as tintypes, vandyke, gum arabic, mordançage and many more.  Though my love for the medium emerged with the idea of capturing light in whatever means necessary.

With this site you will see a sampling of the work I've done along with a large series I have been working on for 5 years and continue to change and develop.  I hope you enjoy the site.
